Solve Before It Dissolves

Most people despise aging. I actually look forward to it. I carried the label of being the youngest in my larger familial context given how most of the grandchildren had already been born by the time I arrived. This also meant having the freedom to explore more as a child. It is one advantage of being a younger child. A younger child usually doesn’t have to prove anything for certain. They are merely a replication of a previous miraculous experience and are therefore free to do anything.
With time and age, I am slowly grasping how you tend to remember life in a slightly revised way. It possibly happens once chunks of five to ten years can be used to organize life. Ten years ago, I used to recall my life in a yearly manner. As more life, stress, and stories pile up, you cannot do so anymore. I have also found that as you resolve more, you forget more. You remember life like acts of a play and how certain characters made you feel, that's all. Then one day the curtains fall quietly and it is just another story to witness from afar. Here’s the crucial bit though. How you resolve life episodes is how you recall them emotionally later.
My first lesson of aging so far.
